Bevan Brittan has appointed health and social care clinical governance and training specialist, Advanced Clinical Solutions, to its Associate Network.

Advanced Clinical Solutions is working in partnership with Bevan Brittan, and other independent clinical management, regulatory, training and governance specialists, to deliver Bevan Brittan’s CQC Inspection Readiness and Response service.

Advanced Clinical Solutions (ACS) specialise in the independent health and social care sector, providing a wide range of compliance and clinical governance services including mock inspections, training and workshops for all levels of an organisation and clinical audits.

ACS becomes the latest member of Bevan Brittan’s Associates Network, through which the firm is able to help clients who require more than traditional legal advice. The Associates Network gives clients access to external specialists across a wide range of areas such as CQC inspection advice, complementary consultancy, and HR-related areas that are relevant to all business sectors such as employee investigation services, dispute resolution and mediation.

The partnership with ACS comes as Bevan Brittan bolsters its Inspection Readiness and Response services for health and social care clients, given the CQC’s ever more stringent policing of its Fundamental Standards and more in-depth scrutiny of health and social care providers’ governance processes.

Carlton Sadler, partner and Head of Bevan Brittan’s healthcare regulatory team, said: “We are very pleased to be working with Advanced Clinical Solutions. With CQC’s inspections becoming more robust and challenging, working with ACS and our other governance and regulatory experts, means we will be able to offer a ‘one-stop-shop’ for care providers to help them prepare for or deal with the outcomes of an inspection.

“Clients will benefit from a depth of market knowledge and breadth of advice on policy and procedure compliance, clinical and leadership training, and, if needed, challenges to inspection findings and advice in relation to enforcement action. With ACS and other members of our Associate Network, our aim is to provide our clients with access to the complete suite of services and advice that they need.”

Josie Winter, Clinical Director at Advanced Clinical Solutions, said: “The opportunity to join Bevan Brittan’s Associates Network and work with Bevan Brittan is an exciting development for us. We greatly look forward to working with Bevan Brittan’s clients to bring them compliance advice and help them prepare for CQC inspections. Achieving high inspection ratings is always a priority, but that’s not the only aim – it’s also about helping providers achieve sustained, positive outcomes for the service users they support and care for.”
