Bevan Brittan LLP has strengthened its national corporate & finance with the appointment of two new partners - Christian Hunt in Leeds and Marti Burgess in Bristol.

Marti Burgess, who will be based in Bristol, advises on a broad range of corporate matters, advising on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, re-organisations, corporate governance, commercial contracts and general aspects of company and commercial law. She has specialist knowledge of the SME, owner-managed business and food/drink/hospitality sectors.

She joins from Gregg Latchams, where she was head of Corporate SME.

Christian Hunt joins as a partner based in Leeds. He advises medium and large businesses on mergers and acquisitions, re-financing, joint ventures, corporate governance, re-organisations – as well as providing general business advice. He has also has extensive experience of supporting entrepreneurs, owner managed businesses and private companies.

He was previously a partner at Langleys LLP, based in York.
