The law firm Bevan Brittan LLP is for the second year running sponsoring the ‘large manufacturer’ category at the Insider Media ‘Made in the Midlands’ Awards 2020.

The award is for the company that has made an outstanding contribution to the manufacturing sector in the Midlands, with a turnover of more than £25 million and/or employing in excess of 250 people. The judges are looking for companies that can clearly demonstrate excellence, sales growth, increased exports and regional economic impact.

Monica Macheng, a partner in Bevan Brittan’s corporate practice who is based in Birmingham, said:

“We are delighted to support the ‘Made in the Midlands’ Awards in recognising the region’s top manufacturers. The region continues to attract new and innovative businesses that are now thriving in the region.

“Although there are now fresh challenges around growth and employment, there is strong evidence that manufacturers here are leading the way in making the changes needed following the UK leaving the EU.

“These include investments in new technology and the opportunities that Industry 4.0 will bring to the sector, with greater automation, data exchange, cloud and cognitive computing.”

Bevan Brittan is a leading advisor in the provision of legal and regulatory advisory services to businesses manufacturing products within the UK. Their award winning legal and regulatory teams provide manufacturers with outstanding corporate, litigation, regulatory, disputes, property, employment, commercial, IT/IP and health & safety legal advice.

The awards ceremony is being held on April 30 2020 at the Macdonald Burlington Hotel in New Street, Birmingham.
