• I am a commercial lawyer specialising in ICT contracts, outsourcing and Intellectual Property. I have previously worked in-house within local authorities and undertaken secondments with higher education and financial institutions. I have a keen understanding of the internal governance issues and drivers which surround projects and the importance of commercially focused advice to meet client objectives.

My experience includes advising on a variety of commercial and ICT agreements including outsourcing, software licensing, development, support and maintenance contracts, terms and conditions for the supply and purchase of goods and services, framework agreements, NDAs, website terms and privacy policies. I also advise clients on the protection and exploitation of intellectual property and in relation to data sharing and collaborations for research and commercialization.

Liz gives me confidence in Bevan Brittan that they are the correct ‘go to’ organisation for our public sector work - and beyond - and brings appropriate gravitas to discussions and negotiations. Liz provides the input that supports the right outcome and challenges appropriately and with confidence. I have no hesitation in recommending Liz to others.

Barney Smith, CEO & Founder Perform Green,

[Liz’s] support was vital in driving this contract negotiation which had its challenges. Her pragmatic approach and quick turnaround was very helpful and much appreciated.

Group IT Project Manager Construction Industry,
