• Richard has been a property lawyer for 16 years dealing with all aspects of property work.  Over the past 10 years, he has worked for clients in the Housing Sector acting mostly for housing associations on a range of property matters.  This experience includes work related to the acquisition of land for development (whether standard acquisition, options or conditional contracts) and also through the section 106 process using a variety of structures including traditional "turn-key", stage payments and golden brick schemes.

    In addition, he deals with property-related aspects of a variety of finance and security work including traditional lending, bonds and private placements, assisting, in particular, with technical property issues and co-ordination of the work to ensure critical deadlines are met along with a wealth of experience of commercial lease and Landlord and Tenant issues.
