Bevan Brittan has been named Property Law firm of the Year at the 2019 West Midlands Property Awards, organised by Insider Media.
The awards celebrate the commercial property sector in Birmingham and the wider region, recognising the achievements of professionals and the organisations they work with.

Birmingham Smithfield
17 acres, 300,00m2 commercial space, 2,000 homes, development value circa £510m
The Smithfield scheme involves a contractual JV model. The firm is providing Birmingham City Council with comprehensive legal support including substantive and complex property, planning, procurement, construction, corporate, governance and tax advice.
Icknield Port Loop
43 acres; 1,150 homes and 100,000m2 commercial, shops and leisure facilities; development value circa £500m
Bevan Brittan advised the Places for People and Urban Splash JV on its entry into a joint venture partnership with Birmingham City Council and the Canal & River Trust to bring forward the regeneration of the inner-city brownfield site. The firm is also advising on the innovative use by the JV of modular and off-site construction delivery methods alongside more traditional construction methods.
Roundhouse Birmingham
Grade II listed building of historic interest
Bevan Brittan are advising on the historic Roundhouse Birmingham restoration – a joint venture between Canal & River Trust (‘CRT’) and the National Trust, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, on the property and construction aspects of the restoration.
This awards success follows Bevan Brittan’s Birmingham Property Team’s recent recognition as Runners Up in the Professional Services Category at the Birmingham Post Business Awards, reflecting the firm’s role in the regenerations projects taking place across the city.
