Leading commercial law firm Bevan Brittan has announced its second senior hire of 2025, with an experienced banking and finance partner joining its national healthcare finance team.
Kerry Gibbons, who joins from Knights, has experience across a broad range of finance transactions, including real estate finance on both the development and investment side, corporate finance, acquisition finance and structured finance. She acts for borrowers and lenders and has significant experience in the healthcare market. Legal 500 describes Kerry as “exceptional” and “a great listener, as well as great at giving advice”.
Kerry adds her skills to a team which has seen a significant rise in instructions in recent years and which advised on healthcare finance projects worth more than £250m in 2024.
Kerry is the second new partner to join Bevan Brittan in the opening weeks of 2025 after the arrival of pensions expert Joel Eytle in London.

Kerry’s arrival is the latest boost for Bevan Brittan’s broader health and care practice. The business has top-tier rankings for healthcare in both the Legal 500 2025 and Chambers UK 2025 legal directories, while its experts also won the Legal Advisors of the Year – Transactional award at the HealthInvestor Awards 2024. Last year’s success was Bevan Brittan’s tenth win at the industry event and the fourth time the firm had won that specific award in the past five years.
