I am a health and social care public law and governance specialist. I advise NHS organisations on how they can exercise their powers and discharge their functions / duties. I advise on a range of NHS matters including responsibility for commissioning specified services. My work also covers primary care advisory work for NHS commissioners, including general practice; dental; ophthalmic and pharmacy matters.
I also advise on a range of joint working arrangements including partnership arrangements between health and social care organisations. My practice includes governance and decision making advice for NHS bodies. This includes advice on policy development; patient choice; public engagement and consultation (specifically major service redesign); and the public sector equality duty (and wider NHS duties).
