I am a commercial property solicitor, based in Bevan Brittan’s London office. I specialise in development and regeneration projects, disposals of land for development, landlord and tenant matters, and secured lending.
I primarily advise local authorities. I apply my understanding of the specific statutory powers and governance processes that apply to my local authority clients to any transaction that I am advising on, ensuring that they run smoothly. I also advise housing associations in respect of site assembly for development, and provide property advice in the context of large estate re-development projects.
Since 2022, I have provided ongoing advice and support to a local authority in respect of their No Use Empty loan scheme, for which Bevan Brittan is the sole legal advisor. As well as supporting the team in administering the scheme, I provide ongoing advice in relation to short term secured lending supporting derelict or disused property being brought back into use, as well as development finance advice in relation to new build projects.
