I am a consultant in the Health & Care - Resolution & Regulatory Department specialising in clinical negligence.
I trained at DAC Beachcroft before qualifying in September 2011 and joining the Health & Care - Resolution & Regulatory Department at Bevan Brittan. Prior to joining Bevan Brittan the majority of my work involved advising and assisting healthcare providers and defending personal injury and clinical negligence claims.
Since qualifying, I have gained experience in defending a broad range of claims on behalf of NHS Resolution, including orthopaedic, obstetric and Fatal Accidents Act claims. I have particular experience in limitation issues, having successfully defended a case on this issue at trial. I have had the opportunity to provide talks to a number of groups, including junior doctors and community Midwives and I have also been seconded to NHS Resolution which has been an invaluable opportunity to develop my understanding of NHS Resolution's requirements and better understand their specific needs as a client.
