I am a Clinical Negligence specialist. I have been acting for NHS Resolution and a range of NHS hospital Trusts for over 20 years. I have advised in relation to a wide range of clinical negligence claims but over the years I have developed a particular focus on complex and high value birth injury and spinal cord injury cases.
I have extensive experience of litigation and ADR (alternative dispute resolution) from both the perspective of the Claimant (having started my career acting for Claimants) as well as the Defendant which I hope helps me resolve claims not only efficiently but also with a degree of empathy for injured patients and the NHS staff trying to help them.
I have carried out secondments with clients and was instrumental in establishing an accredited claims handler’s course for Trust legal teams in conjunction with Wolverhampton University.
