I am a solicitor in the Clinical Risk department within the Medical Law team; I advise on a range of healthcare issues, both contentious and non-contentious.
I have experience in representing clients at inquest hearings and have assisted clients in public law matters including judicial review cases. In addition, I have experience in mental capacity and mental health matters, including Court of Protection best interest cases. I also provide general advice to clients on a variety of healthcare matters, including complaints handling, data management and public inquiries.
I do have a particular interest in inquests and I have worked with clients in a range of settings including community and acute mental health, acute medical care and prison healthcare.
I qualified as a solicitor at Bevan Brittan in March 2017 after having trained with the firm. Prior to this, I worked for a year as a paralegal within the Medical Law team at Bevan Brittan.
