    8 years on from the landmark decision in Montgomery v Lanarkshire Health Board, consent to treatment issues present huge challenges to busy clinicians and feature heavily in clinical negligence claims brought by patients. How can the challenge of achieving informed decision making be met?

    Join us at The Royal College of Anaesthetists for this in person conference on Consent to Treatment.

    • What does the research tell us about medical consent and what is the international picture?
    • What does the GMC’s guidance say about decision making and consent and how important is terminology?
    • What resources are available and being developed to support clinical practice?
