• I am an experienced Employment Lawyer with over 16 years’ experience. My work covers the full range of employment law topics, from large-scale, complex project work such as TUPE transfers, restructures, redundancies and change management, to day to day HR issues (and everything in between).

I also very much enjoy training and have devised and delivered training on a wide range of topics, including mental health in the workplace, and diversity, equality and inclusion.

I have particular experience in the manufacturing, engineering, logistics, infrastructure, hospitality and retail sectors but I’m always happy to get involved in new areas. Every business or organisation is different, and I take real pleasure in getting to know my clients’ business operations, so that my advice is focussed, directly relevant and aligned with the client’s specific goals. I am pragmatic, commercial and, above all, approachable and my work is very much 'solutions-led'. I enjoy working with people and pride myself in my strong relationships both with my clients and my colleagues.

    • Project managed the employment law aspects relating to the closure of a defined benefit pension scheme and introduction of a defined contribution scheme affecting approximately 700 employees
    • Advised on a large-scale restructure for a large household-name company, from the strategic planning stage through to implementation
    • Successfully defended a multi-Claimant holiday pay claim brought by over 70 employees against a major logistics company
