• I started in costs in September 2014 as a trainee Costs Draftsman and I qualified as a Costs Lawyer on 1 August 2018.

I am experienced in dealing with all areas of costs with a particular focus in commercial litigation, banking and finance and complex clinical negligence/personal injury matters. I am experienced in dealing with the entire detailed assessment and costs management process to include advocacy.

I have experience dealing with matters where the normal costs provisions do not automatically apply; such as family, employment, property, and probate claims. I am a skilled negotiator and I provide pragmatic and commercial advice to ensure the best results for my clients.

I have gained experience undertaking work in both the Cayman Islands and Jersey and have experience with group litigation work.

I utilise my experience and legal knowledge to offer a tailored service to my clients. In addition to my fee earning responsibilities, I have also provided internal and external training on costs issues and I often work with clients and colleagues in order to help them improve internal procedures and maximise their costs recovery.
