Registration: 09:30 - 10:00
Seminar: 10:00 - 13:00 followed by lunch
Location: Bevan Brittan London OfficeEfficient and effective investigations can be a powerful tool for improving employee relations and tackling dysfunctional behaviours, if used with precision and care. The expanding minefield of employment law means that there are numerous issues to contend with in investigations, from employees refusing to engage, to overlapping complaints and alleged breaches of privacy and Human Rights. Meanwhile, social media continues to make its presence felt in the workplace and will often arise as a key issue during an investigatory process – is it possible to bring this into an investigation or is this covered by privacy restrictions?
This practical interactive workshop from the Bevan Brittan employment team, using case studies and shared learning from delegates, will cover the legal framework, alongside guidance on how to deal with some of the knottier issues and pitfalls that can arise during an investigation.
