Top 100 law firm Bevan Brittan has been appointed to KCS Procurement Services’ first legal services framework. The national framework will be accessed by local government authorities, emergency services, NHS bodies and trusts, housing associations, education and care providers across the country.

KCS Procurement Services is a trading unit of the Commercial Services Group, one of the largest trading organisations of its kind in Europe with a turnover in excess of £600 million. Commercial Services Group is a wholly owned business unit of Kent County Council, which has grown to supply a growing range of goods and services to other publicly funded organisations.

Bevan Brittan is one of 19 law firms appointed to the framework which covers a wide range of legal services including employment law, health & safety, litigation, energy, planning and property law.

The KCS Procurement Services appointment is the latest success for Bevan Brittan and comes after it was appointed to several high profile legal panels including EM Lawshare, Crown Commercial Services (RM6240 & RM6179) and London Boroughs Legal Alliance.

Virginia Cooper, Partner at Bevan Brittan said: “We look forward to enabling access to our services to a wide range of public sector organisations through the new KCS Procurement Services legal services framework. Our experienced team brings legal expertise and practical experience helping public sector organisations meet their service demands, as well as supporting them to find solutions, fix problems and avoid challenges.”

This positive news for Bevan Brittan builds on a strong 2020/21 for the firm, which recorded its eighth consecutive year of growth and recruited eight new Partners to its expanding business.
