National law firm Bevan Brittan’s newest senior hire in Leeds has helped the business chalk up its latest milestone – more than 100 colleagues based in the city.

The firm’s Yorkshire team is celebrating reaching a century of colleagues after the arrival of Legal Director and subsidy control and public procurement specialist Helen Feinson.

The landmark addition to the business’s Toronto Square-based team comes just a few months after it celebrated its eight-year anniversary in Leeds, demonstrating the rapid growth it has seen in the region since its office first opened its doors.

Bevan Brittan launched in Leeds in September 2015 with just 10 colleagues. But, it has since expanded to the point where the team now numbers 110, including 14 partners.

Now, the firm’s lead partner in Yorkshire has forecasted further expansion in the near future after welcoming Helen to the team.

Lyndon Campbell, Head of the Leeds office for Bevan Brittan, said: “This is a real milestone for us and is testament to the fantastic team we have built here in a relatively short space of time. We are delighted Helen has helped us pass 100 colleagues in Leeds, but she most definitely will not be the last as we continue to grow our team and client base.

“We are winning more work all the time and these are exciting times for everyone at Bevan Brittan in Leeds.”

Helen has joined as a Legal Director from her previous role at Hill Dickinson and brings more than a decade of experience of advising private and public sector bodies, including a large number of NHS trusts, local authorities, and universities, on a wide range of subsidy control, State aid, and procurement law compliance matters.

She adds her expertise to a Leeds team which now supports more than 400 clients including property owners, developers, investors, universities, landlords, tenants, construction companies and local government organisations. It advises housing associations, NHS Trusts, healthcare providers and corporate clients too.

The team also works with colleagues nationally from Bevan Brittan’s other offices in Birmingham, Bristol and London to support organisations across a range of sectors. The business enjoyed its tenth consecutive year of revenue growth in 2022/23.
