Bevan Brittan is celebrating significant recognition in the latest Chambers UK rankings, a reflection of its dedication to client service and strength of expertise.
 
The national law firm has secured eight Band 1 ranked practice areas – an increase that underscores its capability across multiple markets.  Additionally, it is recognised in a further 19 disciplines and now has 12 top-ranked lawyers.

Among the firm’s standout rankings, Bevan Brittan has achieved Band 1 status UK-Wide for Administrative and Public Law, Clinical Negligence: Mainly Defendant, Healthcare: Public and Third Sector, and Local Government. It is also top-ranked for Social Housing in the North East & Yorkshire and South West. Notably, it has secured a new top ranking for Real Estate: £10-50 million in London. and retained its top position as Band 1 for Employment: Employer: Healthcare in the capital as well.

Bevan Brittan’s top-ranked lawyers include Senior Partner Jodie Sinclair, Alastair Currie, Julian Hoskins and Sarah Lamont, all specialising in Employment law. Julie Cowan-Clark, Louise Leaver and Richard Stirk have earned recognition for their social housing expertise, while Emily Heard is awarded for her leading knowledge on Public Procurement.

Joanne Easterbrook is top-ranked for Clinical Negligence: Mainly Defendant, while Stuart Marchant is recognised for his work in Healthcare: Mental Health: Providers. New Band 1 rankings were also awarded to Louise Robling (Construction) and Hannah Taylor (Court of Protection). A further 37 Bevan Brittan lawyers were listed in the rankings which also highlighted three Up and Coming experts and three Associates to Watch.

The announcement of the Chambers UK 2025 rankings closely follows Bevan Brittan’s strong performance in the Legal 500 2025 directory. The national law firm also saw its income rise by a record-high of 13% to £76.2m in 2023/24.
