Bevan Brittan has been shortlisted in the Professional Services category, with the winners to be announced at an event at Ashton Gate in the city on 17 May.

Bevan Brittan is one of Bristol’s largest law firms, with more than 230 legal professionals and support staff based in the city. The firm’s Property and Construction legal teams are recognised as UK market leaders across health and social care, housing, and local and central government, advising more than 300 businesses.

During the last year, the firm has worked on a range of property matters in Bristol including helping Bristol City Council in the delivery of quality affordable housing, helping Great Western Air Ambulance purchase its new air base in Almondsbury and supporting the highly successful Bristol Housing Festival 2018.

Further afield, Bevan Brittan’s property practice also advised Places for People and Urban Splash on the Icknield Port Loop, in Birmingham, delivering 1,150 new homes and facilities and advising Peabody Trust on the development and regeneration of the Thamesmead Waterfront in London - delivering 11,500 homes and infrastructure.

Mark Calverley, Head of Property at Bevan Brittan, said: “We are thrilled to be a finalist in the Bristol Property Awards. I think this reflects the skills and experience of our Bristol property and construction practices advising investors, developers and providers of commercial and residential property in Bristol and beyond.”

Rosemary Jago, Head of Bevan Brittan’s Bristol office, said “To be a finalist in these property awards, plus a finalist in the legal category of the Bristol Life Awards 2019, demonstrates the calibre of the clients we advise and the interesting and complex range of work our highly-skilled lawyers undertake every day. We look forward to the awards event in May!”
