National law firm Bevan Brittan has been shortlisted for Legal Advisor of the Year at the Partnerships Awards for the eighth year in a row.

The recognition reflects the firm’s extensive work in the Public Private Partnership (PPP) sector across the past 12 months. Its award-winning PPP team has advised on some market-leading deals during the period, including the completion of the £425 million Birmingham Waste PPP project and supporting Flintshire County Council on the delivery of the £65 million Mynydd Isa Campus – the first new school under WEPCo (A joint venture between the Development Bank of Wales (Welsh Government) and Meridiam to design, build, finance, operate and maintain education infrastructure over 25 years.)

Several projects that Bevan Brittan has advised on are also up for awards within separate categories, including Royal Papworth for “Best Operational Healthcare Project” and DHSC for “Public Sector Promoter/Procurer of the Year”.

This year’s ceremony will mark the 25th anniversary of the awards, which are recognised internationally as celebrating the pinnacle of excellence in the PPP industry. Bevan Brittan has previously been highly commended at the event, while Partner Rosemary Jago was also nominated for Leading Woman in Infrastructure at the 2023 ceremony.
