I am a dispute resolution lawyer specialising in technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) disputes including commercial contract disputes, intellectual property disputes (patent, trade mark, copyright and design right infringement claims, breach of confidence claims and domain name disputes), and reputation management claims (defamation, harassment and privacy claims). Many of the disputes I work on are complex and high-value, and involve multiple parties (often in other jurisdictions).
I have successfully concluded claims through negotiated settlement, mediation, expert determination, arbitration, summary judgment and at trial.
My aim is always to resolve disputes in a way that ensures the solution reached is pragmatic, commercial and cost-effective, and the client's goals are achieved.
Wesley O'Brien and Phil McCourt have been outstanding in the quality of the advice provided and the explanations which they give for it. Their ability to think beyond the immediate problem and to look forward and predict consequences is as useful as it is impressive.

Wesley O’Brien is in my view a rising star. His advice has been pragmatic and to the point; he brought a new perspective and options to the table which ultimately got results swiftly in what appeared to be a desperate situation. I would definitely recommend using his services.
